Our outstanding race-mare Ballistic Lover has sold at auction today (24th May) to the winning bidder China Horse Club for $1 million at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale. She was offered by Newgate Farm as the agent for Tricolours Racing.

Director of Tricolours Racing James Moss said “This is an incredible result, we are absolutely thrilled, she has been a wonderful race mare for her ownership group, and trained brilliantly by Joe Pride. I have no doubt she will be a very successful broodmare and really looking forward to seeing her progeny dawn the track”.

Moss went on to say “Ballistic Lover was an $80,000 purchase and she went on to be a Group 1 performed mare, competing at the highest level.  We are really sad to see her go, but delighted with this sales result and so very proud of all that she achieved – she has been an absolute star”.
