Lot 335 is this lovely filly by NZ’s most exciting young sire, Tarzino. Tarzino needs no introduction as he has created many headlines in his short career at stud so far producing 2 Group 1 classic winners in his very first crop! Star filly Gypsy Goddess was the winner of the Group 1 QLD Oaks, and Jungle Mandate was the winner of the Group 1 SA Derby. There is no doubt that Tarzino is NZ’s most promising sire of classic horses, and our filly could just be the next Gypsy Goddess!

 

Our filly is out of a stakes performed Volksraad mare in Mapmaker, who was a winner over 1400m, and placed in a Group 3. She is the half sister to VRC ST Leger winner Hippopus, who also won a Canberra Cup. Mapmaker is already proven produced, with 3 foals to race for 3 winners.

 

Our filly has a real “Classic” NZ staying pedigree, with all 3 dam’s on the page stakes performers. She will join our team with John Sargent at Royal Randwick, and she has all the attributes to be Sarge’s next Oaks winning filly!
