Outstanding three-year old filly Harlow Mist has taken all before her to win three from three and book herself a ticket in the VRC (Kennedy) Oaks in November. The Contributer filly, trained by the Oaks master John Sargent, guaranteed herself a start in the classic with her win in the Kennedy Oaks Preview (1800m) at Flemington with Mick Dee on board.

Sargent said "It was a big jump out today as she's been winning in the country. She's got a decent-sized heart. Today was a fork in the road as to whether we wait for autumn or carry on with her now in the spring, but after that performance, we definitely will keep going." 

Sargent now intends to give Harlow Mist a short freshen-up break, and then run her in the Wakeful Stakes as a lead-up to the Oaks.

Tricolours Director James Moss could not have been more delighted "Three from three with those wins coming on a range of surfaces from a heavy 8 to a firm track. She's travelled down to Melbourne and run the opposite way and it was huge stop up in grade for her too. Despite all of that, she showed what a progressive and professional filly she is.  Her ownership glory is over the moon, Oaks Day here we come !"
